Kentucky Father Charged with Trafficking After Selling His Daughter to Another Man!
We guess the saying "Sometimes, it's your own people" rings true in this case. One Louisville, KY father and one pedophile are in jail today after the father sold his child!
In a release, Kentucky State Police said it launched an investigation in November, after learning the juvenile gave birth in March 2021.
Diego Alonzo-Perez, (left) 34 of Beaver Dam, is charged with Human Trafficking - Commercial Sex Activity for allegedly selling his daughter to Lucas Mateo, (right) 20 of Beaver Dam.
KSP said the juvenile had been living with Mateo since August 2020. He is charged with Rape, 3rd Degree.
There have been a rash of trafficking cases across the country and not all of them, like this case, are random strangers. According to Traffick Jam Live, in 2020, 50% of human trafficking victims identified in Federal cases were young girls, children under the age of 18. Most girls are “tricked” or coerced into trafficking before they are 14-15 years old. Most girls know their traffickers, they just don’t realize they are being groomed to be trafficked. Family members, social media stalkers and pretend “Romeo Boyfriends” emotionally, psychologically and sometimes physically trap these young girls and the trauma begins.
Thankfully, this case ended before this young girl suffered much more. Both men are being held in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford, Kentucky.
