Children Flee Their Home Seeking Help as Their Mother Dies of After Apparent Murder-Suicide!

Three little boys in California are without their mother today after she was killed by a man she once loved. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt Derrick Alfred said one the boys, ages 5 to 11, was able to call 9-1-1 for help. When officers arrived on the scene they observed the three boys fleeing the home.

The officers put the children into a squad car and took them away from the scene. When other responding officers entered the home they found the children's mother, and her boyfriend both, shot to death.

The 27-year-old woman was shot multiple times, Alfred said, and the 28-year-old man, who had been her boyfriend for about a year and was not related to any of the children, had a head wound. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said they found a legally registered gun at the scene. They have not yet released the couple’s names.

“So far, it does not look like the man had a criminal record,” Alfred said. “It’s a very tragic situation.”

It looks as if there was a disagreement between the couple that lead to the boyfriend killing the children's mother. This is sad for all families involved but especially so for these young boys who will have to grow up without their mother.
