A Philadelphia Mother of Six Girls was Stabbed More than a Dozen Times By Her Children's Father!

A 32-year-old Philadelphia woman has died after reportedly being stabbed to death by the father of her children.

Philadelphia police responded to a call for help in front of a grocery store in the 5300 block of Chestnut Street. When they arrived they found the body of a woman, dead of apparent stab wounds, in a gold Honda Odyssey.

They woman, later identified as Ashley Lockhart, had suffered multiple stab wounds, including at least one to the face, and was pronounced dead. The weapon, a knife that was reportedly still embedded in her body, was found at the scene.

Lockhart was the mother of six beautiful girls, ranging in ages from 5-months to ten years old, that she loved and adored. Six little girls that she taught self empowering affirmations to. Six little girls that will now have to navigate this world without the guidance of their mother and. . . their father.

The 34-year-old father of Lockhart's children, who has yet to be publicly identified (presumed pictured), was the person of interest in her murder. Lockhart had a protection order against the man due to past domestic violence between the two.

At this time there are little to no details concerning this case however, the suspect has been arrested and official charges are pending.
