Early Morning Long Island Jogger Finds Dead Body!
Just like something straight out of an episode of Law & Order SVU
Authorities said the man, a home health aide who was visiting a nearby resident, was jogging around 10:40 a.m. when he discovered the unconscious woman lying on the ground in a wooded area just east of Winding Path, in Manorville.
According to Pix11 News the jogger, who is a home health aide by trade, was visiting a resident in the area and out for a morning run. He came upon the woman, thought to be unconscious, around 10:40am and immediately called 911.
"The woman was pronounced dead by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, Suffolk County Police said.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death."
We don't know about you but this is NOT what we'd like to find while out getting in our morning fitness!
