It's that time of year again when our favorite celebrities throw lavish Halloween parties and we envy the creativity of their costumes. Some of our favs have spent literally thousands of dollars to have their costumes custom made and, although we think the costumes are cool, we're not getting ready to drop a stack on a costume that we'll never wear again. I've combed the Halloween archives and gathered the top 10 costumes that you can probably make on your own!

If you've got spandex pants laying around, you can pull this off. To make the jacket, the "D.I.Y." way, cut a white sweatshirt down the front center, and sew or glue on colorful patches, collar and cuffs! WINNING!
