JAY-Z Gives Us 4:44 and the Cheating Details! [LISTEN HERE]

I can tell you now that the world was hoping that Jay-Z would drop a few answers on us concerning questions we all had after listening to Beyonce's "Lemonade" and boy oh boy did he ever!

After taking a listen to his tracks I can truthfully say this is his most transparent album yet. He discusses trying to be a good father to Blue Ivy, infidelity, and even the dreaded "elevator" incident that he had with Solange.

Check these lyrics to "Kill Jay-Z":

“You egged Solange on Knowin’ all along, all you had to say you was wrong You almost went Eric Benét Let the baddest girl in the world get away I don’t even know what else to say Nigga, never go Eric Benét I don’t even know what you woulda done”

"Kill Jay-Z" is a letter from himself, to himself on just what he's done wrong, how he's messed up and how he needs to correct his behavior to keep the love of his life. The Eric Benét reference, well that comes from Halle Berry's ex-husband who had a beautiful wife and cheated with scallywags!

The juiciest bits come from 4:44 where he tells of their longstanding relationship and the birth of their "Natural Twins". Now, I know a lot of you out there are still riding the "Blue Ivy Came From a Surrogate" train but I believe that this means the twins were conceived naturally and not through their countless rounds of IVF.

"4:44"

“Look, I apologize, often womanize Took for my child to be born See through a woman’s eyes Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles Took me too long for this song I don’t deserve you, I harass you out in Paris Please come back to Rome, you make it home We talked for hours when you were on tour Please pick up the phone, pick up the phone Said don’t embarrass me instead of be mine That was my proposal for us to go steady That was your 21st birthday, you mature faster than me I wasn’t ready, so I apologize I’ve seen the innocence leave your eyes I still mourn this death, I apologize for all the stillborns ‘Cause I wasn’t pressing, your body wouldn’t accept it I apologize to all the woman whom I Toyed with you emotions because I was emotionless I apologize ’cause at your best you are love”

4:44 is truly the apology a lot of women need to hear and it took maturity for Jay-Z to say these words publicly to his wife. All I got after that is wow. . .
