Viral TikTok Mom "Mama Tater Tot's" Son Violently Gunned Down the Day Before His 19th Birthday!

In a world where we could all use a little more love, one TikTok user has been showing it unconditionally to all of her followers, no matter what their walk of life, for years. Ophelia Nichols, who posts using the TikTok handle @shoelover99, has been affectionately called "Mama Tater Tot" after coining her followers "My Little Tater Tots". She has offered love to her seven million followers who've felt rejected, criticized, depressed or who simply need an encouraging word. Now, it's Nichols who needs to feel the love.

Nichols' 18-year-old son, Randon Lee, was gunned down at a Prichard gas station, just a day before his 19th birthday.

Nichols posted a tearful video announcing her son's death and pleading with the public for information.

According to WKRG, the shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. Friday night on Saint Stephens Road. Prichard police say it is still under investigation and cannot provide any further details at this time.

Nichols posted a comment under the video stating that there was a possible lead on two individuals who may have been involved in her son's death.

The case is still under investigation and no further information has been made public.
