One thing we know Tyler Perry is going to do is crank out multiple movies and projects in one year! Earlier this year Perry had the world's jaw on the floor with his Netflix film "Straw" starring Taraji P. Henson, he released his BET+ series "Divorced Sistas", somewhere in here there was a new Madea movie and now, he's dropping something old made new!

The Biblical story of Ruth and Boaz is one that single women have been reading and quoting for centuries and now, thanks to Tyler Perry, it's getting a fresh re-telling and of course the Tyler Perry twists!
The film stars Serayah McNeill, Tyler Lepley and Phylicia Rashad. Rounding out the cast are Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Walnette Santiago, Nijah Brenea, James Lee Thomas, Jermaine Dupri, Lecrae Moore, Christopher Broughton and Yung Joc.
Directed by Alanna Brown, “Ruth & Boaz” is a story about the up-and-coming Atlanta hip-hop artist Ruth Moably, who “gives up the glamorous life to start anew in rural Tennessee, where she cares for Naomi, her surrogate mother and meets the man of her dreams,” according to the logline.
This is the first faith-based movie produced from the partnership that Perry formed with Devon Franklin, Christian speaker and author, "Ruth & Boaz" will premiere on Netflix on September 26, 2025! This is one we just might have to watch!
