Tiger Woods "Severely Injured" in Roll Over SUV Accident!

Golfing great Tiger Woods was severely injured in an early morning car accident this morning. According to California officials "the 45-year-old links legend rolled the SUV around 7:12 a.m. outside Los Angeles, leaving him hospitalized and in need of surgery for multiple leg injuries, officials have said.

Photos and video of the aftermath show the mangled wreck of the luxury ride, which The Los Angeles Times, citing authorities, identified as a Genesis GV80.

Woods, whose real name is Eldrick, was in California for the Genesis Invitational golf tournament, which wrapped over the weekend, and on Saturday was featured in an Instagram post by the company, beaming alongside a glimmering GV80.

According to TMZ, emergency responders had to use "the jaws of life" to pry Woods from the luxury SUV. Deployed airbags showed signs of blood but officials say that woods was alert enough to respond to them at the scene.

Insiders have told TMZ that "Tiger was staying at a hotel where a major network television show was being shot. Production sources tell TMZ, when the director arrived just before 7 AM, Tiger was driving his SUV very fast as he was leaving the property and almost hit the director's car. The director was shaken enough to tell production staff about it after he parked. A crew member who saw Tiger as he got in his SUV at the hotel tells TMZ, once Tiger got in his vehicle, there was a delay in driving off and he appeared "agitated and impatient." The crew member says once the delay was over, Tiger "took off fast."

At this time little is known about Woods' condition but, celebrities and fans across the globe are sending him prayers. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
