"The Monster is Back!" Little Girl Screams From Window Alerting Neighbors After Being Held Captive!
A little girl named "Maggie" is safe today after being rescued from a horrifying situation.
On June 30, 2021, at approximately 10:25 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to the area of Schaefer Highway and Capitol Street in Detroit for a child endangerment call. Upon arrival, officers were notified that the child was being held captive in a duplex in the 12100 block of Schaefer.
Dangelo Cash Clemons, 30, the resident of the home was taken into custody by police and the little girl, 5, was placed in their care. According to police, Maggie had been held captive, in Clemons home, for days.
Authorities also say that when they entered the unit adjacent to Clemons' home they found the body of a deceased male who had apparently been shot. Her neighbor and babysitter Raynell Jones, who called 911 initially, says that Maggie lived with her father, Colby Millsap, on the right side of the duplex in the 12100 block of Schaefer. It is presumed that Millsap is the deceased and that is why no missing person's report was filed for Maggie.
Maggie is currently in the care of a foster family. Records show that she has relatives in Texas but, it is unclear if she will go to live with them permanently.
There have been no reports on if Maggie was harmed in any physical way while she was kidnapped.
Clemons is currently being held in jail facing charges of kidnapping. His charges could increase if it is determined that he is responsible for Millsap's death.
