2022 went out with a bang and it looks like 2023 decided to start off the same way.
The Marvel and "Hurt Locker" actor Jeremy Renner has been hospitalized after a horrible accident involving a snow plow. The incident happened early New Year's day and there have been limited details released from his camp but, we do know that he is in critical condition yet stable.
According to ABC 7, Renner, 51, was airlifted to a local hospital from the site of the incident in Reno, Nevada, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office said.
Reports say Renner was only partially involved in the accident.
"At approximately 9 a.m. on January 1, 2023, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
"As of now, we can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today," the publicist, Samantha Mast, said. "His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care."
We're definitely praying for a full recovery!
