The one thing the world has a ton of is reality shows! There are shows about surviving the wilderness, family drama and finding love. All of them are entertaining and show promise but, there was ONE that seemed to rise above the others. TVOne's collaboration with Kirk and Tammy Franklin, entitled "The One".

On "The One," Kirk and Tammy assist Brent Underwood and his bachelorette co-star Ashley Evans on finding a mate in one of the worst dating marketings in the country: Atlanta. Check out the trailer.

The show premiered May 18th and just wrapped with an explosive reunion. If you haven't seen the show, I'll warn you that this article contains spoilers.

I got a chance to sit down and talk with Ashley Evans, the bachelorette who made the most shocking decision, and our conversation was pure gold!

During our conversation we talked about dating on reality television, which Evans called a "different beast", and the backlash she received from the show's viewers.

Evans, a chemist turned entrepreneur, says that some show viewers accused her of wasting contestant's time on the show because she made the choice to choose someone else. That someone, after much prayer, was herself. That's right, at the end of the season, Brett the Bachelor ended up with his "One" and Evans decided that she'd rather be alone with God. It was a decision that Evans said she spent all night awake, in prayer, making.

When I asked Evans what was next for her, she simply replied I'm "working on myself. Honestly, I'm not even focusing on dating. I'm focusing on myself and my relationship with God. Focusing on my businesses, and the right one is gonna come to me when he's supposed to come to me."

There's no better thing to do than to not settle for what could be and wait for "The One".
