If you're a fan of the "Dexter" universe, Paramount is giving you two more reason't to love it! Esteemed actor Bokeem Woodbine, Black Dynamite and Dead Presidents, along with Nona Parker Johnson, Fear the Walking Dead and High Potential, will join the second season of Dexter: Resurrection in series regular roles.
Johnson will play "Fiona Mixon," a training officer in the Homicide unit and a nepo-baby in the police world and Harrison’s (Jack Alcott) new love interest. While Woodbine is known for playing a "bad guy" in quite a few films, his role in "Dexter: Resurrection" is one that shows his acting skills in a different light. Woodbine will play "Capt. Mixon," a bulldog of a homicide captain and Fiona’s (Johnson) father. Not quite the bad guy but still as tough as nails!
In addition to Woodbine and Johnson’s casting, Paramount+ recently announced that Brian Cox will join this season as "The New York Ripper," Uma Thurman will reprise her role as Charley and Dan Stevens will play "The Five Borough Killer."
"Dexter: Resurrection" stars SAG and Golden Globe® winner Michael C. Hall (Dexter®, Six Feet Under) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan. A man with a homicidal appetite that you somehow find yourself rooting for.
Season one of Dexter: Resurrection is available to binge on Paramount+ only with the Paramount+ Premium Plan.
