Florida Teacher Pressured Student for Sex. He Was Afraid He'd Fail if He Didn't Comply.

When will these lonely "housewife" teachers learn?

Yet another teacher has been charged with sexual abuse after being accused of pressuring an underage student for sex.

Meghan Mary Rodriguez, 37,was arrested last week and charged with sexual assault. Rodriguez, at former teacher at Navarre High School, allegedly had sex with a student during a summer session last year.

According to "Rodriguez’s arrest report, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip on March 3 that Rodriguez had sex with one of her 17-year-old students last summer.

When law enforcement interviewed the student, he said frequent, platonic text message conversations with the teacher had turned sexual, and he and Rodriguez had sex at Navarre High School in the summer of 2019.

The student said after attending a "summer practice," he met with Rodriguez in her classroom to go over something and the two had sex."

The young man insisted that the two only had sex once because he "regretted it afterwards."

The Navarre High School principal told the SRSO deputy that Rodriguez had admitted to him that she had kissed the student but had denied having sex with the student.

The teen's mother said that he had only broken the news to his parents on March 3rd when he sat them down because "there was something he needed to tell them."

He told his parents that Rodriguez initiated the sexual encounter. He also said he was worried that "she would fail him."

Rodriguez quit her position at the high school on May 28th when she got word that potential charges were forthcoming.

Rodriguez reached out to an investigator on the case to inquire what the repercussions of the allegations could be and to find out "what happens next". They explained to her that there still had an investigation to conduct and, at the conclusion of investigation, she could potentially have a warrant for her arrest. She then asked me what the less extreme outcome could be.

“I told her the less extreme is nothing happens,” he continued to write. “Meghan then asked me if there was a middle ground.”

We're not saying this woman is guilty but, she's really looking like she's ready to rock an orange jumpsuit.
