"Young and the Restless" Star Kristoff St. John, 52, Has Died.
This one hits me right in the childhood. "Young and the Restless" veteran actor, Kristoff St. John, was found dead at his California home yesterday.
According to TMZ:
"Law enforcement sources tell us one of Kristoff's friends went to check on him at the actor's home in San Fernando Valley, and found his body. Police and paramedics were alerted and responded to the house. We're told Kristoff was pronounced dead on the scene."
There was no sign of foul play. Just a little over a year ago there were reports that St. John had been hospitalized after attempting to commit suicide by holding a gun to his head.
In 2014 the actor lost his son Julian St. John to suicide. St. John and his ex-wife, boxer Mia St. John, released a joint statement calling Julian "the light of our lives, an artist with a beautiful mind and spirit."
Kristoff St. John had been a regular actor on the CBS daytime drama "The Young and the Restless" since 1991. He had previously held roles on "The Cosby Show" and "A Different World". Kristoff St. John was only 52-years-old.
