Producer Behind Christian Film "Eternal Salvation" Arrested for Allegedly Murdering His Wife.
A Christian film producer has committed one of the deadly sins. Police in Thousand Oaks say that 55-year-old Tim Gautier shot and killed his wife, Gina Goutier, 57, during a domestic dispute Monday morning. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a domestic dispute in the 2300 block of Fountain Crest Lane in Thousand Oaks on Monday at 6:57 a.m. There they found a woman who had been mortally wounded.
Authorities say that Mrs. Gautier was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead after suffering gunshot wounds during the domestic dispute, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The Gautiers have been working in the film industry together for a number of years with their most recent production being Eternal Salvation that was produced in 2016.
In addition to Eternal Salvation, Gautier wrote and produced a 2003 short film called A Fight for Glory, which also lists his wife Gina as a producer.
Gautier, who has worked in the film industry for over 15 years, also served as the creator and executive producer for the magazine entertainment television series Stars of Tomorrow, according to his profile on the Eternal Salvation movie's website.
Online jail records show that Gautier is currently held on $500,000 bond at the Ventura Pre-Trial Detention Facility.
