Our Favs, Patti LaBelle and Keisha Knight Pulliam, Team Up for Holiday Romance "A New Orleans Noel"!
As the world settles into the holiday season, we're gearing up to binge watch new holiday films! We've got a running list of new films in queue but when we say Lifetime seems to have the market on lock, we mean it! Their newest holiday film "A New Orleans Noel" brings together a few of our favorite entertainers and our love for all things NOLA! Arguably one of the most amazing voices to ever sing, Patti LaBelle, joins veteran actress Keisha Knight Pulliam for a little bit of a double romance story set during the holidays.

Grace Hill (Keshia Knight Pulliam) and Anthony Brown (Brad James) could not be more different. Despite having gone to college to study architecture together, their lives took them on completely separate paths. However, when they’re both hired to work together on the home of Loretta Brown (Patti LaBelle)—a New Orleans praline icon —the two find themselves working together at Christmas…and butting heads over more than just architecture. When Anthony and his family discover that Grace will be celebrating Christmas alone, they invite her to take part in their traditions and their celebrations. Soon, fiercely independent Grace begins to learn the importance of family and community, while modern Anthony learns to embrace tradition and the magic of Christmas. But when Grace is offered a new job far away from New Orleans she’ll have to decide if she’ll leave, or follow her heart.
We've watched the film and it is absolutely adorable! Although Patti LaBelle doesn't seem old enough to play James' grandmother, she pulls it off so well! Actor Tim Reid also makes an appearance as Marcel Lirette, a handsome, retired friend who moves back to town after years away and catches the eye of LaBelle's character, Loretta Brown.
In case you didn't know, Knight Pulliam is actually married to James in real life. The couple married last October after James proposed the year before on their on year anniversary.
James has been an actor for years with one of his earliest credits being the 2009 TV Series "Meet the Browns".
"A New Orleans Noel" is produced by Evergreen Films with Daniel Lewis, Rick Carter, Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Leonardis and Keshia Knight Pulliam serving as Executive Producers. Script by Angela Tucker and Alys Murray and directed by Angela Tucker.
If you've got a sharp eye, you just might spot Knight Pulliam's daughter, Ella Grace, with a small speaking role in the film as well. It's a family affair!
"A New Orleans Noel" will premiere on Lifetime Saturday December 3, 2022 at 8pm EST.
