Neighbors Hear Screams Just Before 3 California Children are Found Dead. Mother and Son Arrested!
Police were called to a Woodland Hills home on reports of an assault with a deadly weapon but, what they found was something much more sinister.
Officers received a 911 call about 7:40 a.m. and rushed to the 22500 block of Victory Boulevard, a residential area in the San Fernando Valley, police said. They found three children, a 12-year-old girl and two 8-year-old boys, who were unresponsive. Emergency assistance was called for but, when EMS arrived they pronounced the children dead.
Neighbors said that the night before they'd heard the children's mother screaming "My family is abusing me". One even witnessed the woman, who moved into the house two or three months ago, walk into the next-door neighbor’s yard, open a Bible and light candles.
Authorities were notified about the behavior and paramedics arrived about midnight and put her on a stretcher. A neighbor said the woman tried to wrangle herself free and yelled, “Where’s my Bible?” She was taken away shortly after midnight but, the next day, her three young children were dead.
Angela Dawn Flores, 38, was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder. Her teenage son, whose name has not been released, was also arrested in connection with the case.
Flores was booked on suspicion of three counts of murder. She has not yet entered a plea. She remains in jail on a $6 million bond. Online records do not reflect an attorney authorized to speak on her behalf.
It's unclear whether the teenage suspect has retained an attorney or entered a plea.
