Disney to Remake Their Classic "Cheaper By The Dozen" with Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff!

We haven't even seen this film yet and we already love it! We grew up on old Disney films and the original "Cheaper By The Dozen" was a family favorite. The story was about a blended family who had to conquer the stress of a house full of children who were basically strangers when their parents married. The old one was phenomenal and, we're thinking, this remake is going to do it some justice.

Gabriele Union and Zach Braff play Zoey and Paul, an interracial couple who fell in love and now are tasked with making their marital home a melting pot for their children.

In the updated film the Bakers are a blended family of 12 who are trying to make it work in what Disney+ is calling "a funny and heartwarming story of the raucous exploits of a blended family as they navigate a hectic home life while simultaneously managing their family business."

According to Shadow and Act, the film also stars Erika Christensen, Timon Kyle Durrett, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Caylee Blosenski, Aryan Simhadri, Leo Abelo Perry, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Christian Cote, Sebastian Cote and Luke Prael.

The film is directed by Gail Lerner from a screenplay by Kenya Barris & Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry. They adapted the screenplay from the novel by Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey.

Check out the trailer below.

Barris also produces the film with Shawn Levy, Gabrielle Union, Brian Dobbins and Donald J. Lee, Jr. serving as executive producers.

"Cheaper By The Dozen" premieres on Disney+ March 18, 2022!
