An 11-Year-Old South Carolina Girl Has Been Missing for Days. Last Seen with a Man She Met at Church.

A South Carolina family is desperate to find their daughter who's been missing for days. 11-year-old Ruby Guevara was last seen around her home in Gray Court, S.C.. Her mother, Reina Guevara, says that Ruby had been acting out of character lately and that her strange behavior has caused a strain on their relationship.

Ruby, a sixth grader, had never left her home without her family's knowledge. Her mother, who speaks only Spanish, says that she feels "destroyed". The 5-foot tall, 130-pound middle schooler was last seen wearing a green shirt and jeans near her home on Georgia Road in Gray Court.

"She came by Sunday around 5:30, 6, 6:30 in the afternoon from church," Guevara said. "And she put – and then… the young men were sitting on the porch when I got here from church."

Guevara said her daughter used to tell her everything. But Tuesday morning, Ruby called and wouldn't say where she was.

Guevara said that her daughter used "bad words" when speaking to her and that she fears for her daughter and for the safety of her other daughters.

Guevara believes her daughter could be with 21-year-old Rafael Garcia, who used to go to their church.

"He knows what he's done and don't need to see that because he is an adult and he is older than her, and she is a girl." Guevara said.

If you've seen Ruby, or know where she is, please call the Laurens County Sheriff's Office or you can call Crime Stoppers at 864-68-CRIME to remain anonymous.
