"Black Panther" Chadwick Boseman Dead at 43 After a Long Battle with Colon Cancer.

At this point 2020 can pack her bags and get the hell on! I mean it. Our beloved "Black Panther" Chadwick Boseman has died.

TMZ reports that Boseman's family released a statement saying "It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.

"They continue that "it was the honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther."

"He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side."

If you never saw "Black Panther" (we don't know why you didn't) you may know him from the movie "Get On Up" where he played the legendary James Brown or from "42" where he portrayed Jackie Robinson or, perhaps from the film "Marshall" where he embodied Thurgood Marshall. You get the picture, Boseman has been portraying iconic characters his entire career!

Boseman broke the box office with "Black Panther". The film reportedly brought in $1.344 BILLION dollars and was one of Marvel Comics highest grossing films.

At this point I'm ready to just scream "Happy New Year" and be done with 2020 altogether. I've lost five family members this year, including my bonus dad, who helped raise me, to cancer. I'm over it. Like, just done.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, co-workers and friends. The world needed his light and another star has gone dim.

Wakanda Forever!
