10-Year-Old Iowa Girl Missing from the Home of a Registered Sex Offender.

This case has so many twists and turns it might as well he a hedge maze.

Police say Breasia Terrell was last seen Friday morning in the 2700 block E. 53rd Street in Davenport, Iowa.

The last time Breasia, 10, was seen just so happened to be at the home of her half brother's father, Henry Earl Dinkins, 47. Dinkins is also a registered sex offender and a felon.

Dinkins was arrested for a registry violation but, Davenport Police Chief Paul Sikorski has said that Dinkins is a person of interest in Breasia's disappearance.

Here's where the story gets even more interesting.

Breasia’s aunt, Lakeshia Lankford, spoke with CrimeOnline and said that her family has known Dinkins for years. Lakeisha said that Breasia was at Dinkins’s home on Thursday night with her 8-year-old brother, Dinkns’s son. Lakeisha also said she has another family member, a cousin, who has a child with Dinkins also. The aunt also said she has a daughter of her own, and that Dinkins had repeatedly asked in the past to take care of her.“I said no,” Lakeshia said. “You know when someone is a molester.”

Breasia's mother, Aishia Lankford, said that she had been in a relationship with Dinkins in the past and, at his request, went to visit him Sunday in the Scott County jail.

Aishia Lankford spoke of numerous social media postings that were negative and, we have to say, we had a few of the same questions everyone else did. If the family has known him for years, wouldn't they have known about his predatory background? According to reports Dinkins was convicted at age 17 of sexually abusing a female "victim under age 13 or under". He's also a felon.

Now, we're all for turning over a new leaf and starting fresh in life but, we have got to be more careful who we have around our children.

This case is too similar to the disappearance and death of Maleah Davis, the little girl who went missing after her mother left her with her abusive boyfriend. The same boyfriend who had previously been accused of cracking the child's skull.

The Davenport, Iowa police are asking that anyone who has information on the disappearance of Breasia Terrell, or if they saw one of the three vehicles that Dinkins owns between Thursday, July 9, from 10 p.m. and Friday, July 10 at 12 p.m. to contact them immediately. Vehicles associated with Dinkins include a 2007 Maroon Chevy Impala, 2012 Black Chevy Camaro, and a 1980′s Kings Highway motorhome. All these vehicles are currently being impounded and in the possession of investigators.

We are following the case of Breasia Terrell very closely and praying that she is found SAFE and unharmed. In the meantime, pray for her family, please.
