North Carolina Woman Set Another on Fire During a Domestic Dispute!
This national lock down is adding to the cases of domestic violence. Every single day there seems to be a new case where something goes horribly awry during a domestic disagreement.
Just yesterday a North Carolina woman was arrested after she allegedly set another woman on fire during an argument.
Karla Ann Davis, 34, (pictured left) has been charged with attempted first degree murder after trying to kill Latonya McCoy, 39.
According to WITN "Police officers responded to the call Wednesday after an assault at a home on Hickory Street in Goldsboro. Investigators believe Davis intentionally set McCoy on fire during a dispute.
McCoy suffered severe burns and was first taken to Wayne UNC Health, then transferred to the burn unit at UNC-Chapel Hill where she remains in critical condition."
There is no word on what really started the argument between the two but, police believe that Davis' actions were intentional.
Davis is currently being held without bond and is due in court on April 3, 2020.
Our prayers are that Ms. McCoy has a speedy recovery and that she receives the justice she deserves.
