Missing Baby Found Dead in a Cemetery. His Mother is in Custody for Other Crimes.
A missing 6-month-old baby boy, the subject of an Amber Alert, was found dead in a cemetery under suspicious circumstances. The alert went out for both Chi-Liam Cody Brown-Erickson and his mother Tamara Brown. Just a short while later, Chi-Liam's body was found at the Sharon Memorial Park cemetery in southeast Charlotte early yesterday morning.
Prior to her arrest, police said she may be suffering from a mental health disability and was last seen walking in Uptown Charlotte around noon Friday."
Police say Chi-Liam Brown-Erickson was not with his mother when they arrested her Friday night at about 10:00 p.m.
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety reported after the 30-year-old mother was located she refused “to state where the child is located.”
At this time Brown has not been charged with any crimes relating to her son's death and his cause of death has not been released.
