California Couple Charged with Killing Their Newborn While Still IN The Hospital!

Andrea Torralba, 20, and her boyfriend, David Villa, 21, of Oxnard, California, were arrested for felony assault on a child by means of force resulting in the child’s death Friday, according to the Oxnard Police Department. Police responded to a suspicious injury at the St. John's Medical Center in Oxnard around 7:53am when a call came in from staff of a newborn in critical condition.

The hospital staff did everything they could to save the child's life but, he died from what they called "suspicious injuries".

During the investigation, police said detectives learned that Torralba and Villa had strangled the boy until he was unconscious JUST HOURS after Torralba had given birth to him.

When questioned about why the strangled their newborn they stated it was because "they didn't want the baby".

Authorities then arrested Torralba and Villa and their bail was set at $1million each.

If convicted, the felony is said to be punishable by a sentence of up to 25 years to life in prison.

There's so much wrong with this story we don't even know where to start. . .

This case is still under investigation.
