New York Man Arrested for Beating a 73-Year-Old Woman, Robbing Her and Attempted Rape Telling Her &q
A little over a week ago a 73-year-old homeless women was brutally beaten, robbed and nearly raped by a complete stranger! On July 7th around 12:45am reports say that the suspect approached the woman and said "I want sex". The shocked woman told him "I could be your grandmother" and that's when he snapped.
According to NY Daily News the suspect, later identified as 23-year-old Clarence Bradley, "punched her in the face, knocking out several teeth and fracturing her eye socket as he tried to rape her, cops said. He then grabbed her bag, which contained $20 cash, and ran off."
CCTV footage captured Bradley wearing a red track suit and a black neck pillow outside of the Department of Motor Vehicles office at 11 Greenwich Street at the time the incident happened.
The victim was able to give police a very detailed description of the suspect which led to his arrest just last night. Two cops patrolling in the 49th Precinct spotted Bradley walking on Baker Ave. by White Plains Rd. in Van Nest -- a block away from his home, cops said.Bradley admitted to being present at the scene of the July 7 crime, cops said.
Police charged Bradley with attempted rape, robbery and public lewdness.
We hope he gets jail time but also some sort of psychiatric help!
