Woman Critically Injured After Her Ex Violates a Restraining Order and Crashes into Her!

A 34-year-old Washington woman is clinging to life tonight after her ex-boyfriend crashed into her car on the road yesterday morning. Police say that the man spotted his ex-girlfriend, who had a restraining order against him, while she was driving. The enraged man drive his car, at speeds greater than 50 mph, directly into the side of her car causing both of them to be seriously injured.

"Police say a 34-year-old woman was trapped inside a Honda and a 37-year-old-man was trapped inside a Volkswagen that had flipped onto its roof.

Both cars were significantly damaged and the drivers had to be extricated by firefighters. The man and woman were both hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Deputies later learned the man and woman had previously been in a relationship, and the woman had recently gotten a restraining order against the man."

His Volkswagen landed near a building on its roof and hers lay in a parking lot area completely totaled.

The assailant was taken to a local hospital, treated and then released into police custody. He now faces charges of first-degree domestic violence assault, second-degree assault, felony violation of a domestic violence no contact order, three counts of reckless endangerment, violation of a domestic violence protection order, and driving with a suspended license.

The unidentified man is still behind bars and the female victim is still in the hospital and listed in critical condition.
