Say Whaaaat?!?! Kids Are Using Sanitary Pads to Get High!

Just when you thought kids today were done ingesting dumb stuff to get high, you were wrong! WE ALL ARE! We have no clue what kid first came up with this idea but we're sure that he, or she, is headed for a life as a chemist!

It hasn't hit the streets of the U.S., yet, but kids in Indonesia are boiling sanitary pads and drinking the left over fluid to get high!

Police on the island of Java, where this new drug has hit hardest, told Strait Times that this epidemic has been going on for nearly two years!

"The used pads they took from the trash were put in boiling water. After it cooled down, they drank it together,' Senior Commander Suprinarto, head of the BNN in Central Java, said.

A 14-year-old boy from Belitung Island, east of Sumatra, who admitted to getting 'drunk' by boiling unused sanitary pads, described to a local newspaper how he creates the concoction.

A pad is removed from its wrapper and boiled for about an hour, after which the water is cooled.

The sanitary product is squeezed into the container, after which the water is drunk, he told Pos Belitung.

Describing the resulting beverage as 'bitter', he told the newspaper he and his friends drink it 'morning, afternoon and evening'."

Local teens are also using diapers to achieve the same effect!

This is gross but it also makes us wonder exactly WHAT is in these products that most women wear without even almost thinking that they could be harmful?!

We've all been young and dumb but we've NEVER resulted in this type of behavior to get drunk!
