Now You See 'Em, Now You Don't! Remy Ma Fires Her Newly Hired Manager Vincent Herbert!

Rapper Remy Ma is back on the scene with new music and a new team to help her reclaim her place in the world of Hip-Hop. She recently added Tamar Braxton's estranged husband, Vincent Herbert, to her team as her manager but it looks like that's not working out too well.

We reported in October that Tamar had filed for divorce but just a few days later that Vincent wanted no parts of it. It seems as if this battle to keep his family in tact is what's actually preventing him from doing his job effectively.

TMZ first reported:

"Remy fired her recently-hired manager, Vincent Herbert, when she felt he was spending more time repairing his relationship with Tamar, than furthering Remy's career. We're told he came up short on promises of being a "super manager" for Remy.We're told Remy's complaints include Vincent dropping the ball on basic manager duties like booking studio time, and scheduling performances. On the other hand, Remy wanted no part of Vincent's family drama -- Tamar filing for divorce and a baby mama allegation -- and our sources say that stuff was his focus."

I respect her decision to let him go so that he can focus all of his energy on repairing his family. Sometimes we have to put family before everything else. Let's hope she can find someone who can give her the time she needs to keep up the momentum after her singles "Wake Me Up" and "Melanin Magic". We wish the best for everyone involved.
