Van Passenger Pushes Cyclist While Hanging Out of a Car. One Act of Stupidity Leaves Two Dead!

We're definitely living in the era of "do anything for clout" and "pranking for likes" with more and more people doing odd and dangerous activities just to go viral. What some believe to be a joyride of pranking turned deadly on the streets of Las Vegas.

According to police, a passenger in a minivan was sticking his body out of the window and was trying to hit people walking nearby from the moving vehicle around 7:30 a.m. near Sahara and Hollywood boulevards.

A couple walking on the sidewalk told investigators the minivan pulled up near them and the passenger tried to hit them but missed.

The minivan continued moving south on Hollywood Boulevard and came across a woman believed to be in her mid-50s riding her bike in the bicycle lane, police say.

It then pulled up close to the bicyclist, and the passenger -- once again sticking out of the vehicle -- hit the bicyclist with his hand, according to investigators. She fell and died.

The momentum from the impact caused the passenger to fall from the vehicle, police say, and he also died from his injuries."

The van sped away leaving the bloody scene behind. The driver has not been caught.
