Texas Department of Family Services Says Missing Maleah Davis was Previously Removed from the Home f

4-year-old Maleah Davis has been missing since Saturday and the details surrounding her disappearance just keep getting worse.

Maleah had been in a car traveling to the airport to pick up her mother with her stepfather and 1-year-old brother. Her stepfather, Darion Vence, alleges that he pulled the car over after hearing a "popping sound" that he thought was a blown tire. When he got out her was approached by three Hispanic men who hit him on the head and knocked him out. When he regained consciousness, a FULL DAY LATER, he was on the side of the road with his toddler son next to him and Maleah had vanished.

Vence said that the incident happened after 9pm but the car he was driving was last seen in that particular area around 2pm.

The details in the story continued to get sketchy when Vence stated that he was in and out of consciousness over the course of the 24 hour period and recalled being in the bed of a pick up truck. The chidren's mother, who was waiting at the airport, got another ride home and never reported the family missing.

CNN reports:

"Four-year-old Maleah Davis and her two brothers were removed from their home last year after reports of abuse, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

In August 2018, Maleah and her brothers were placed with a relative following physical abuse allegations, stemming from a head injury she had, CPS said Monday night.

A judge ordered their return home in February and called for CPS to maintain temporary conservatorship and visit the home at least once a month to check on the family.

CPS is investigating and searching for Maleah with law enforcement."

As we reported yesterday, Maleah had a brain injury that required several surgeries to help heal. Now, according to the Texas CPS, we see the brain injury was the result of possible abuse.

We don't know about you but this story is SUPER FISHY and we're praying Maleah is found SAFE!

Maleah is around three feet tall and weighs between 30 and 40 pounds. She was wearing a pink bow in her hair, a light blue zip jacket and gray/white/pink sneakers.

Anyone with information on Maleah Davis' whereabouts or either vehicle is urged to contact Houston police at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. Police also want to hear from anyone who may have seen Darion and his son on walking on Highway 6 or Highway 59 on Saturday.
