Texas Father Shoots Peeping Tom Caught Lurking Outside His Daughter's Bedroom Window!

A Texas man is being viewed as a hero today after shooting an alleged peeping Tom over the weekend. Official reports from the Harris County sheriff's deputies said that the father of a young girl heard her screaming and ran to see what the problem was. The girl's parents say they caught an intoxicated man inappropriately touching himself outside of the child's window late Sunday night around 10pm.

According to the father, both he and the mother demanded the alleged peeping Tom lie down in the yard and wait for police to arrive. The man did not comply and walked across the street to a Valero gas station.

The armed couple followed the man to the Valero gas station. Deputies say the wife held the man outside the gas station while the husband went inside and asked the clerk to call 911.

That's when the man wrestled the handgun out of the wife's hands and pointed it at her, deputies said.

In fear that the man was going to start shooting, the dad fired his weapon, shooting the man three times, deputies said.

However, when ABC13 spoke to the father, he said he believed he shot the man four times; twice in the chest, once in the stomach and once in the side.

Here's the super crazy thing about this case, the girl's father said that she'd complained about someone looking in her window a few times in the past but he hadn't believed her. If this doesn't make you start checking things out when your kids complain, I don't know what will!

The man was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies say the incident will be referred to the Harris County District Attorney's Office for a grand jury review.
