Teen Fatally Shoots Pregnant Step Mom Just Days Before Her Due Date!

A 19-year-old Macon, GA girl is behind bars today after fatally shooting her pregnant stepmother!

Reports from Macon state that "Melanie Powers, 36, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head just after 6:30 am. in the 1000 block of Radio Drive Sunday morning. According to the sheriff’s office, Powers’ step-daughter, Passion Latrice Watkins, was found sitting in a park on Pansy Avenue in Macon. She was taken into custody and interviewed about the murder."

Watkins also attacked Power's 11-year-old son. He was taken to the hospital, treated for his injuries and released.

Watkins has been charged with malice murder, aggravated assault, cruelty to children, and feticide for causing the death of Power's unborn baby. The baby was due to be delivered by C-Section later this week. Watkins is being held without bail and has not disclosed a motive for the murders.
