Ohio Mom Awakens to Find Strange Woman Giving Her Toddler a Bath!

Let's file this under "Things that Only Happen in Ohio" because OBVIOUSLY all of the crazy stuff has to happen here.

Last Wednesday a woman by the name of Aerica Hill of Columbus was awakened to the sound of her dog barking loudly. When Hill went to see what all of the fuss was about she noticed a strange woman in her house!

"I get up and I walk to my door and the way my house is set up, I can look down the hall,” Hill told the WCMH news.

“I see a white female lady, bent over the tub, with my 2-year-old in the tub.”

After the shocking discovery Hill says that she fought the woman off and her boyfriend restrained her until the police arrived.

The woman, identified as Elizabeth Hixson, 22, was carted off to jail. When interrogated by the authorities, Hixson said that she entered the house to take care of the toddler who she says, was outside alone.

The police were not able to corroborate her story as there no witnesses who would also state that the chld had been outside.

Hixson was charged with burglary charges, and possible additional charges once prosecutors review the case.

Hixson's mother spoke with the media and said that her daughter had "good intentions".

Listen, these folks are going to learn one day that you can't just walk up in someone's house!

IF the child was outside alone, whatever happened to knocking?! Calling out to the people inside? Calling the authorities?

Her mother might be saying that her daughter had "good intentions" but, these "good intentions" could have landed her in a casket. At some point, people need to mind their own business!
