"The Young and the Restless" Actor Eric Braeden Goes Full On Victor Newman on Eva Longoria!

We were all literally minding our business on this fine Sunday when, seemingly, out of the blue we got a daytime soap opera episode on Twitter.

Veteran daytime soap star Eric Braeden, popularly known as the cut-throat businessman Victor Newman on "The Young and the Restless", went OFF on former daytime star, turned movie actress, Eva Longoria. The verbal lashing appeared to be unprovoked but, it actually wasn't. Longoria recently did an interview with CNN where they took her on a walk through "memory lane" of her career. For a brief stint Longoria played the character Isabella, on the long-running CBS drama "The Young and the Restless". Longoria seemed to blanch at the sight of herself on the daytime drama, and admitted to keeping the job a secret. Not just because of her acting skills but because she was still paying her bills working in corporate America.

Eva then went on to explain that she didn’t tell any of her clients that a “dumb actress” was working on their accounts, so that’s why she kept her soap opera gig a secret. She continued, “I was like, don’t tell anybody I’m on that show. Because I was, you know, still making more money on my day job.”

Well, that's all it took for Braeden to unleash his inner Newman! The actor took to Twitter to voice his opinion on her acting skills and to call her out for her shade against other daytime actresses. Take a look at his rant below!

"The Moustache", as he's sometimes referred to on "Y&R", did NOT have to go that hard! Of course, because we can't be serious about anything, the good citizens of Twitter had a field day responding to this rant with a few jabs of their own. Here are the most hilarious ones.

As of this moment, Braeden has not posted a retraction, deleted the tweets or made an apology. Longoria hasn't said a word either.
