Marvel Studios Releases the First "Wakanda Forever" Trailer and We're in Tears!
Marvel Studios has finally released the trailer for the much anticipated follow up to their blockbuster film "Black Panther". The 2018 film grossed over a billion dollars at the box office and much more in streaming sales.
With the death of the lead actor, Chadwick Boseman, in 2020 many wondered how the franchise would continue without the Black Panther himself, well, we now have our answers. In a trailer that is both sombre and exciting, we get a glimpse of what's to come in "Wakanda Forever".
Take a look.
We have to admit, this trailer moved us to tears. It looks like we're getting a funeral for King T'Challa, played by Boseman, and an ascension to the throne by his sister Shuri, played by Letitia Wright. Somebody's having a baby and we can only HOPE that it's Nakia, played by Lupita Nyong'o, having a child of T'Challa's!
"Wakanda Forever" was directed by Ryan Coogler, the phenomenal director who brought us "Black Panther" and it hits theaters November 11, 2022.
We'll be there opening night!!
