If melanin thunder had voices, it would be those of Mahershala Ali and Idris Elba. These two just sound like the proteges of Morgan Freeman. .. like God Jr.s! After years of women literally swooning at the sound of their voices, and the sight of their faces, these gentlemen have been the leading man in tons of women's dreams. Now, thanks to HBO Max, you can have them put you to sleep.

HBO Max is launching a 10 episode series entitled "A World of Calm" hailed as "visual Vailum" for those who have trouble calming down and falling asleep.

Via Variety:

"A World of Calm,” which represents HBO Max’s first foray into the health and wellness space, is the result of a collaboration between the makers of the highly popular sleep app Calm and Nutopia, the team behind Nat Geo’s “One Strange Rock” series.

Each half-hour episode of the show will feature a relaxing tale designed to transform how the viewer (or listener if you have your eyes closed) feels. The aim is to “transport the viewer into tranquility through scientifically-engineered narratives, enchanting music and astounding footage, to naturally calm your body and soothe the mind.”

The show guarantees "soothing" imagery and tranquility that watchers can add to their daily routine. If you're looking for more of a variety that just Ali and Elba, "A World of Calm" will be narrated by a laundry list of A-list stars! They've also tagged Keanu Reeves, Nicole Kidman, Zoe Kravitz and Lucy Liu just to name a few.

If you're down for adding to your subscription pile, HBO Max runs about $14.99 per month as a premium add-on to HBO standard service. If you're looking for free relaxation videos, check out our Self Care section.
