Nigerian Brothers In Jussie Smollett Case Spilling More Details About Their "Attack". Clai

Sir Walter Scott said "Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!" and that is one of the most true statements ever spoken.

The Jussie Smollett "attack" story has plagued the country with more twists and turns than a long game of "Clue" and more theories we've ever imagined! The deeper the investigators dig, the more details become available and the more we're all left scratching our heads.

Now, we've got this:

Man. . . Let me say this again. . .

As of right now NONE of us know what really led up to all of this but I'm just going to go out on a limb here and give you all my own PERSONAL thoughts and ponderings.

I'm struggling to understand WHY someone who is at a serious high point in his career would orchestrate something so devastating? WHY would you do it and WHY wouldn't you plan the farce better? You have dozens of directors at your disposal and you threw this plot together like the nursery class' Christmas Nativity play!

WHY would you want to stir up MORE racial tension in a country where Black men are already thought to be sinister and criminal? WHY would you perpetuate the stereotypes that they already have for you?

WHY would you stand up and tell your audience that you are the "Gay Tupac" when Tupac NEVER staged an assault against himself?

These are also questions that one could use to vindicate Jussie as well. WHY would he do this to himself? Maybe he wouldn't.

I'll admit, I'm struggling with this one. I want to believe Jussie ESPECIALLY when we all know the Chicago PD has always been a band of liars. I want to believe that Jussie was attacked legitimately and that this wasn't staged. I want to believe that a Black man wouldn't do this. . . but this evidence though. . .

I guess we'll all just have to wait and see how this all plays out.
