Married Teacher Used Grades as a Weapon to Pressure Student into Having Sex with Her!
It ain't never this serious sis! This 27-year-old MARRIED woman pressured her student to have sex with her by holding his grades over his head!
Jennifer Danielle Olajire-Aro was arrested in December 2017 for having a sexual relationship with a student under her tutelage. They two had sex at least three times between November and December in 2017 in various locations including her home!
The relationship came to light when the young man began skipping his calculus class, taught by Aro, to avoid having contact with her. On several occasions the young man, referred to in court documents as John Doe, said that he refused her advances and she would warn him that she "was in control" of the grades he earned in her class.
The final straw came in December when Doe stood up to Aro and refused. Aro made good on her threat and dropped his grade from a 98 to an 89. That prompted him to tell his mother and that's when all hell broke loose! The young man's parents are not only seeking retribution from Aro, but the school district as well!
"In the civil lawsuit filed Thursday, the student and his parent — identified only as John and Mary Doe — accuse the Charleston County School District of negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. They are seeking a jury trial and a judgment for actual and compensatory damages, including medical and health care expenses."
"“Defendant CCSD, who has a history of employees engaging in romantic relationships with students, committing sexual acts on students, storing and viewing pornography on CCSD issued computers, and the like, failed to properly inform or train Aro on the policies and failed to properly supervise Aro to ensure she was not in violation of said policies,” the lawsuit states."
Aro, who is married to a resident at Medical University of South Carolina and is the mother of a toddler, faces one count of sexual battery which is punishable by spending up to 20 years in prison.
The young man's mother made a tearful statement saying “She is an awesome teacher but she is a hellacious person for what she did,” the mother said. “He is 17, 17. He is not an adult. ... Emotionally, he is not ready for this. I’m not ready for the texts, the phone calls, the comments.”
Out of all the men to cheat on your spouse with, you chose a 17-year-old boy? I get that "other" folks are getting a slap on the wrist for it, or getting off altogether, but I never thought I'd see the day that an educated sister who appeared to have everything a woman could want would risk it all for a guy who can't even buy you a drink.
