SAY WHAAAAT? Babysitter Abandons Little Boy then Calls the Police to Say She Saw a Lost Child!
A Rhode Island woman has been arrested after she allegedly abandoned a child she was supposed to be caring for.
22-year-old Daniela Peraza Lemus, of Central Falls, made a call to Pawtucket police saying that she was in an Uber home and spotted the boy near Exit 26 off of I-95 around 6:30 a.m.
Officers arrived and quickly located the boy, taking him to Hasbro Children’s Hospital for an evaluation before placing him in the custody of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
Police later determined that Lemus was supposed to be babysitting the little boy but was tired of watching him.
Lemus has been charged with filing a false police report.
It is not yet known if the child has been returned to his family or not but, his mother has been located.
Although there is little known about this case we want to point out to parents worldwide that we need to be more careful who we leave our children in the care of. Children have been abused, molested and even murdered at the hands of someone that the parents deemed to be fit to care for them.
Parents, please, we're begging you, be more careful who you leave your precious children with.
