Here we go again reporting a story of a person who's supposed to be a safe adult for children to come to being an actual predator!
A New York Elementary school principal has come under fire for allegedly sexually abusing children!
According to Democrat & Chronicle Kirk Ashton, 51, was the principal at the Northwood Elementary on North Greece Road in Greece. Ashton has been charged with six counts of first-degree sexual abuse and five counts of second-degree course of sexual conduct, both felonies, and nine counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, according to the New York State Police.
According to New York State Police, the victims, all boys, are between the ages of eight and 12. Major Barry Chase said that all of the alleged sexual abuse connected to the current charges occurred within the school building during school hours over the last four years.
The abuse could go back years, according to the Monroe County District Attorney's Office.
Orders of protection were issued for eight of the alleged victims. The mother of the ninth alleged victim declined an order to protect her son's anonymity.
Ashton pleaded not guilty Wednesday night as he was arraigned in Greece Town Court. He was remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $500,000 cash bail or $1 million bond.
Of course the public believes that there are more victims out there but some may not want to come forward.
