More and more families across the country are watching their finances and cutting their cable television service is where most of them start. Not wanting to just live by antenna alone, those who still have home internet service are looking for free, or low cost, streaming services to provide their home entertainment. If you are one of those people, you've come to the right place. We've decided to compile a list of COMPLETELY FREE streaming services that will keep your family entertained for hours.

First up is Tubi! Tubi "Tubi is the world’s largest ad-supported video on demand service with over 20,000 movies and television shows from nearly every major Hollywood studio. Tubi gives millions of viewers an easy way to discover new content, which is all available completely free."

Tubi has commercials just like regular cable programming and the same quality service. They've got shows such as

Next is PlutoTV. This television app looks the most like traditional cable television.

Pluto TV has a channel guide that features 100s of channels and even movies on demand. If you're in the mood to binge watch "Unsolved Mysteries", there's an entire channel dedicated to giving you the creeps! Can't find one of your favorite movies? They've got everything from "The Golden Child" to "Madea's Big Happy Family".

Pluto TV has been a go to television app for us and the fact that it's 100% free makes it even more appealing.

Next on our list is Sony's "Crackle". Probably the first free streaming service that we became aware of, the ad-supported streamer has a treasure trove of hard to find movies. From the Miles Davis biopic "Miles Ahead" starring Don Cheadle to the pilot episodes of "227", Crackle has something for everyone.

If you're a horror fan, they've got "The Ring", "The Grudge", "Silent Hill" and classics like "Rosemary's Baby" and "The Blob". Crackle also has a "Home School" channel for the littlest family members that can only be compared to the programming on PBS and Nick Jr. Under the Sony umbrella, Crackle holds its own.

Finally, NBC's Peacock TV. Unlike the other three services, Peacock TV has a free and paid plans. We're not here to discuss those paid plans though. Let's talk about the programming. Peacock TV has show series like "Downton Abbey", "Parenthood" and the wildly popular "Law & Order SVU" series. They've also got their hands on hard to find movies such as the dark "Hard Candy" film starring a young Ellen Page and Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".

Their kids section has such favorites as "Curious George" and "The Care Bears" series.

All of these streaming services are available on their websites as well as apps for mobile devices. If you've used these services, or know of some other completely free services, feel free to let us know in the comments below!
