Registered Sex Offender Accused of Peeping in Bathroom at Young Girls Gets Handled by a Group of Fat

If you want to talk about swift, street justice, then now's your chance! A 15-year-old South Carolina girl reported to her father that she caught an old man peeping underneath her bathroom stall yesterday at a Duncan, South Carolina Cracker Barrel restaurant. As it happened, the young girl was a part of a soft ball team that was in town for a tournament and, almost all of the girls, had parents along for the ride.

According to Duncan Police Chief Carl Long, a 15-year-old girl claims that a man — identified as 53-year-old Douglas Lane, of Charlotte, NC — was looking at her while she was in the women’s bathroom at Cracker Barrel, located at 1525 E. Main St in Duncan. She said she noticed something moving at her feet and realized it was a man’s head coming from the stall beside her.

When the girl left the restroom, she told her father, who then got a female employee to get him out of the bathroom.

The girl's father took matters into his own hands, literally, by dishing out a few blows that left Lane bloodied. According to Chief Long, Lane attempted to flee the scene but was held by other fathers until the authorities came.

Witnesses say that the 15-year-old was not the only girl in the bathroom at the time and that the girls were "traumatized" afterward.

Police found Lane's cellphone in the bathroom and took it into evidence.

According to Long, Lane was charged with voyeurism, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lane is a registered sex offender and has been charged for peeping at least eight times prior to this incident.

He's being held on a $2,000 bond and is expected back in court on November 12th at 9:00am. There have been no charges filed against either father in this situation.
