Something Ain't Right! 4-Year-Old Missing in Texas with an Odd Story!

4-year-old Maleah Davis was reported missing, possibly taken by three men, in Texas!

Her stepfather, Darion Vence, told police that he, his 1-year-old son and Maleah were abducted by three Hispanic men.

Vence said that he and two children, Maleah and his 1-year-old son, were on their way to the airport to pick up the children's mother. On his way he heard a "pop" sound like he'd gotten a flat tire. Vence says that he pulled over to check the tire and was approached by three Hispanic men, one of whom, hit him on the head and he blacked out.

He woke up nearly 24 hours later with his son next to him but Maleah was no where in sight.

Lord knows we don't like to draw conclusions or point fingers but this story is quite shaky.

According to ABC13:

"Police said Vence went to Houston Methodist hospital in Sugar Land around 11 p.m. to seek treatment for his injuries with his son.

Meanwhile, police say Maleah's mother was waiting for Vence at the airport and did not report the family missing to police.

They say she ultimately got another family member to pick her up.

Maleah's mother tells ABC13 Eyewitness News they called police Saturday morning to file a report because they were concerned after not hearing from Vence."

Maleah Davis was last seen wearing a pink bow in her hair, a light blue zip jacket and gray/white/pink sneakers.

She is described as an African-American female with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 3 feet tall and weighing 30 to 40 pounds.

Authorities are asking for assistance from anyone who may have information. The public is asked to contact HPD at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
