Pittsburgh Cop Who Shot and Killed Unarmed Teen. "I Don't Know Why I Shot Him."
17-year-old Antwon Rose what shot and killed on the streets of East Pittsburgh last June by a cop, who now says, he doesn't even know why.
When we first broke the story last year the community immediately raised their voices in an outcry against this officer's actions. The horrific scene was caught on video by someone who lived in the area and posted to social media.
A witness in the shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer said he saw the officer standing on the sidewalk, panicking, saying, "I don't know why I shot him. I don't know why I fired."

The citizens of East Pittsburgh took to the streets to protest Rose's murder only to become victims themselves when someone drove threw the crowd.
Now, with all of this still fresh on their minds, the citizens of Pittsburgh now have to digest the fact that former police officer Michael Rosfeld has been acquitted of his murder charges.

"On Friday, however, a jury acquitted Rosfeld of all counts in a deliberation that took less than four hours. District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr., who tried the case in Allegheny County, said in a statement that he disagreed with the verdict but respected the jury’s decision.
“In the interest of justice, we must continue to do our job of bringing charges in situations where charges are appropriate, regardless of the role an individual holds in the community,” Zappala said.
Rose’s family on Friday condemned the verdict. “I hope that man never sleeps at night,” the teen’s mother, Michelle Kenney, said according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “I hope he gets as much sleep as I do, which is none.”
The jury claims they made the right decision but that hasn't stopped the citizens of the city from protesting. Hundreds of students walked out of class in protest of the verdict and thousands took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the flawed judicial system.
