Mom's Boyfriend Arrested in Little Girl's Murder After Her Body Was Found in a Suitcase.

This is absolutely sick and sad! Last week the body of an unidentified young girl was found on a hiking trail in Hacienda, California. The child's body had been stuffed into a suitcase and left out in the elements.

The description given to the public was that the girl was between the ages of 8-13 years of age and weighed about 55 pounds.

After drawings of the little girl were released to the public, her body was positively identified as that of a missing 9-year-old girl.

According to KTLA:

"Antonio Jones said Trinity Jones was his youngest daughter. He learned of her death through a phone call."

"Words can't explain what I'm feeling right now," he said. "I just want answers. I just want justice."

"She was just the best," he said. "Full of character, full of life, full of joy."

Now that she has positively been identified, the family is looking for answers in the face of someone they knew all too well.

Emiel Hunt, 38, was the boyfriend of Trinity's mother, has been charged with her murder.

Hunt is no stranger to jail cells either. It's reported that he spent a decade in prison on a torture and child abduction case in 2005.

Hunt was arrested during the early morning hours on Saturday, March 9, investigators located Hunt sleeping in his car, which was parked in a lot near San Diego International Airport. He was arrested without incident and booked at Norwalk Sheriff’s Station.

According to records he is being held on a $2million bond.

We've reported this type of crime one too many times over the years and our hearts are broken each time. Crimes against children by someone they know and trust are the worst. We're tired of pleading for mothers, and fathers, to put their children first and be mindful of who they have around their children. As of right now there are two people being held in this case.

There has been no official word from Trinity's mother.

UPDATE:

Trinity's mother, Taquesta Graham is in police custody on an unrelated manor. She has a previous police conviction from 2009 for enticing a minor into prostitution.

Graham, 28, is a registered sex offender and it is unclear why she was permitted custody of her daughter in the first place.
