Wendy Williams FINALLY Returning to Television!

In case you've missed her, everybody's favorite gossip queen, Wendy Williams, has officially announced when she'll FINALLY return to her daytime talk show. In December, when the show went on winter hiatus, Williams announced that she'd be taking an extended leave to deal with a few personal issues. While many of us thought she was referring to her rocky marriage, her main focus was on her health!

If you recall the "Wendy Show" Halloween episode of 2017, Wendy became "overheated" and fainted on live television. After that incident Williams took a three week break from the show to take care of herself all while battling an undisclosed illness. Williams eventually admitted to being diagnosed with Graves disease which, according to the Mayo Clinic, is an immune disorder that causes overproduction of thyroid hormones. While the disease is often debilitating, it can be managed if you make your health a priority and that's exactly what Williams did.

The "Wendy Show" was turned over to guest hosts Nick Cannon and Sherri Shepard while Williams recuperated and the show, according to insiders, ran more smoothly than it ever had before! That honey moon is officially over because, come Monday March 4th, the boss is back!

“Wendy Williams is an incredible talent with the most unique voice in daytime,” Debmar-Mercury, the distributor and producer of the show, said in a statement. “We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show on Monday, March 4th.”

“We so appreciate all of the guest hosts and panelists who filled in for Wendy during this time,” the statement continued. “These people are, and always will be, true family to the show. And we want to thank all of the loyal and supportive fans who have been with us for 10 years now. And of course, we thank our station and business partners, who stepped up in such a supportive way.”

Williams, 54, also released a statement, saying: “Salute to Debmar-Mercury for believing from the start and thanks to my staff for tirelessly holding it down for me.”

Welcome back Wendy! How you doin?
