Chicago Police Confirm They Have "Persons of Interest" in Jussie Smollett Attack Case.

In the last 24 hours this story has changed more than Ohio weather. Just a few hours ago we reported that the Chicago police were actively searching for assailants on surveillance cameras. They'd searched for hours but hadn't turned up one single clue until now. The department's representative took to Twitter to announce that they have video showing "persons of interest".

All of this stems from a alleged attack on Jussie Smollett in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Smollett claims, and surveillance video confirms, that he was walking to a nearby Subway for food. After he left the restaurant he was heckled by two men wearing ski masks who shouted racial and homophobic slurs at him. The two men beat him, reportedly breaking one of his ribs, and eventually ran off.

This story is still developing but we'll definitely keep you posted!
