Oh Really? Georgia School Superintendent's Racist Rant Gets Him "Administrative Leave".

I was raised to believe that when people show you who they are, to believe them. To gage a person by their actions AND their words. To listen to what they say when they're angry because, that's how they really feel. To forgive the act but never forget the lesson it taught you.

If we haven't learned anything since the current administration took over this country, we've learned that racism still exists and it's EVERYWHERE!

The newest case of showing your true colors comes from Georgia.

Via Atlanta Journal Constitution:

"The superintendent of the city of Buford’s school district used racist language and spoke of wanting to kill black construction workers who had angered him, according to accusations in a race-discrimination lawsuit.

The complaint, filed in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, includes audio recordings to buttress its claims.

Superintendent Geye Hamby, in two recorded conversations, allegedly used racial epithets repeatedly when referring to African-American workers at a construction site, according to the recordings attached to the lawsuit.

“(Expletive) that (n-word). I’ll kill these (expletive) – shoot that (expletive) if they let me,” the person identified as Hamby can be heard saying. The person speaking repeatedly refers to blacks as “deadbeat (n-word).”

Hamby declined to address the allegations.

“This is a personnel and legal matter pertaining to a disgruntled employee,” he said in a statement emailed to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “District council has advised not to comment.”

Although the students at the school recall Hamby as being "sweet" and "kind", I'm not buying it. Folks can pretend to be one way and really are another underneath. We see it all the time! The fact that he was placed on "administrative leave" is appalling! Folks spewing hate have lost their jobs over videos and recordings of them being racist or taunting people of color. Hamby has to go!
