Say Whaaat?!?!? Colorado Woman Arrested for Heating Urine in Microwave at 7-Eleven!

People do extremely dumb stuff on the daily and Angelique Sanchez proved she's no different!

You know how almost all of us had to take some type of drug test for a job? Well evidently Ms. Sanchez knew her sample would come back dirty so she took to extreme measures to try to avoid getting caught and but still come up "clean".

Her plan didn't work out so well. According to reports:

"Angelique Sanchez, 26, was found at the Concentra Health Clinic just a half-mile north of the 7-Eleven that she was said to have visited in Aurora, Colorado.

A police report from the Aurora Police Department dated May 3 states that the woman needed to take a physical and had to do a urinalysis for a job prospect.

9News Medical Expert Comilla Sasson said that a quality check measure for urine drug screening is making sure it is at around 98.6 degrees - body temperature.

'The only kind of rationale would be that... after you'd say given a urine sample and it gets to room temperature... which we know whatever the ambient temperature is, maybe that's 70 degrees, whatever the day is... now you feel the need to warm it up to body temperature, maybe that would be a reason to put it into a microwave,' Sasson said to 9News.

But placing the urine in the microwave would cause it to overheat and be ruined, she asserted.

'There's all these different ways that laboratory test[s] can be done to basically look for samples that are not fresh, that are not clean, that are not given at that moment,' she said.

A clerk at the convenience store called police after witnessing Sanchez place something in the microwave.

She heard a 'loud bang' soon after but 'Sanchez looked at the microwave and walked out the door,' according to the report.

The sales woman noticed 'yellow liquid dripping from the microwave and the smell was unquestionably urine.'

She then told Sanchez that she needed to clean up the mess or she would call police.

And according to the report, Sanchez 'wiped out the microwave onto the floor.'

As she left, the clerk alerted authorities.

Sanchez is said to have told officers that she cleaned up the mess and didn't understand the problem.

'When I reminded her that urine blew up where people prepare their food, she told me it was not real urine,' the officer wrote in his report.

Sanchez was issued a summons for damaging the microwave, which police claimed was worth $500.

The officer also informed an employee at Concentra that Sanchez shouldn't be allowed to take the urine test that day.

'Concentra complies with federal and state laws as well as companies’ guidelines regarding drug testing,' said the company in an emailed statement.

The woman has a history of offenses. She was convicted of theft, according to Colorado criminal background information.

First we had the school Superintendent who was dropping loads onto the track field, now we've got this genius heating up urine. I'm done with humans for the day!
